Great West Conference Champions
Pitchers & Catchers Progressive Camp (This Camp is full)
Dates: Starting Jan. 23 & 24
One night per week (Monday or Tuesday) for four weeks
Grades 9-12 (open to any and all entrants)

This camp is designed to give players the opportunity to work with UVU staff in preparing for their upcoming seasons. Participants will have the chance to throw live bullpen sessions, learn drills to help mechanically and also experience a post-throwing workout, learning the same routine UVU uses with its own staff for arm recovery and strengthening. Campers will also be shown different weightlifting techniques and lifts that UVU uses and will have the opportunity to work during every session.
Catchers will gain experience and knowledge in aspects of the position. A portion of every session will consist of drill work including many that you can take home and incorporate on in your own workouts. Catchers will also learn about working with pitchers, including pitch calling and working with pitchers in their bullpens and in-game environments. The sessions will be split up for drill work, seminars and catching live bullpens.

Have the opportunity to bring your team over and get an early start headed into the spring season. You will have use of our stadium Brent Brown Ballpark and also have the chance to have your kids learn hitting and or pitching from the Utah Valley coaching staff. Your team will have a personalized session for an hour with our staff and also have the chance for coaches to learn some new drills or new ways to teach certain mechanics of the game. We know how limited indoor space is during the winter months and would like to give more teams opportunity to keep their kids improving and helping as a staff in that matter.
